Account Receivable / Maryland Specialist             

Workplace Type: Onsite with one remote day/week

Position Summary

As the Account Receivable/Maryland Specialist, you will be an integral part of our team, providing crucial support in handling Maryland member functions and assisting with accounts receivable during peak periods. Collaborating closely with the Maryland Specialist and the Gift Processing Specialist, you will learn and serve as a backup for functions related to onboarding, billing, member contact, and account receivable activities. Additionally, you will aid in posting contributions and handling phone calls during peak times.

Maryland Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Process Applications/Welcome Packets
  • Assist with Reinstatement requests and tracking reviews.
  • Respond to members promptly regarding membership changes, billing questions, reimbursements, etc. within a 24–48-hour turnaround time.
  • Assist in reviewing Monthly Contribution Forms and CHM Plus bills.
  • Assist in Maryland billing Members Escrow and CHM Plus
  • Process and mailing of dropped memberships due to nonpayment
  • Act as the primary point of contact for member and staff inquiries in the absence of the Team Lead.

Account Receivable Responsibilities (assistance during times of high volume):

  • Post contributions to memberships and monitor data accuracy.
  • Process overshare reimbursements
  • Assist members via telephone, email, mail, and voicemail as needed.
  • Participate in account receivable projects and initiatives.

Essential Job Functions

Business Analyst – Member Services

Position Summary

The Business Analyst’s role will elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of stakeholders, be they customers or end users. This includes interviewing stakeholders and gathering and compiling user requirements to understand the technology solutions they need. The Business Analyst will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help the business make good technology decisions. The Business Analyst will also be proactive at following emerging Technology trends, watching for new technologies to optimize business processes. The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring IT’s understanding of business requirements.

Responsibilities

Position will dually report into the Project Management Office Director and Functional Vertical VP, the duties and responsibilities of the Business Analyst role include:

Strategy & Planning

  • Collaborate with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision.
  • Clearly identify project stakeholders and establish user classes, as well as their characteristics.
  • Conduct interviews to gather user requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.
  • Identify and establish scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics.
  • Work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements.
  • Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.

Acquisition & Deployment

  • Assist in conducting research on software and hardware products to meet agreed-upon requirements and to support purchasing efforts.
  • Participate in the QA of purchased solutions to ensure features and functions have been enabled and optimized.
  • Participate in the selection of any required documentation software solutions that the organization may opt to use.

Operational Management

  • Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
  • Develop and utilize standard templates to write requirements specifications accurately and concisely.
  • Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.
  • Where applicable, develop prototypes of interfaces and attributes based on user requirements.
  • Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.
  • Develop and conduct peer reviews of business requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted.

Requirements

  • Experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.

Security Architecture

  • Collaborate with departments to help design secure networks and systems.

The Member Bill Processing Trainer’s primary roles are providing in-person and virtual training for Member Bill Processing employees, conducting audits, cross-training to ensure a decrease to the department’s overall error rate, and empowering the employees to perform their jobs confidently. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain moderately complex integration, functional, and non-functional tests, and contribute to automated test frameworks, to ensure the holistic quality of the software.

Essential Functions

Message Responses

  • Is the primary point of contact for members reaching out on social media. Fulfills members’ online needs and requests promptly. This may include the occasional weekend and evening monitoring.
  • Engage/start online conversations on a regular basis.

Content Creation

  • Assists with content creation (including graphic design, caption writing, and scheduling posts through primary social media management tool).
  • Stay updated on social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms.
  • Create/edit short-form videos based on trending social media content (i.e. TikTok, Instagram reels, YouTube shorts)
  • Participates in brainstorming sessions intended to enhance the organization’s social media presence, communications, marketing, and member retention. Suggest new ways to attract prospective members, like promotions, competitions, and giveaways.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Updates Digital Promotion team lead on the nature of messages that have been received as well as any other important updates related to social media.
  • Conduct regular assessments of social media performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Analyze engagement, reach, and conversion data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
  • Monitor online conversations through social listening to be attuned to the needs and sentiments of our audience.
  • Monitor and analyze competitor social media activities to benchmark performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between social media efforts and broader organizational goals.

Collaborate with Creative Teams

  • Works closely with the Brand Integrity Team on social listening, online reviews, development/updates for the social media policy/crisis management document, etc.
  • Works closely with the Growth Marketing Team on SEO best practices for social media posts, influencer and partnership relationships, digital marketing campaigns, etc.
  • Other tasks that support the functions of the Creative Teams such as (but not limited to): answering emails, managing member prayer requests, editing articles, video editing, graphic design, and helping coordinate weekly Chapel services.
