This is a place where users can communicate with administrators, or administrators with one another. You can report vandalism, problematic users, or anything else that needs an administrator's intervention. Do not report child pornography or other potentially illegal content here; e-mail legal-reports@wikimedia.org instead. If reporting threatened harm to self or others also email emergency@wikimedia.org.

Report users for clear cases of vandalism. Block requests for any other reason should be reported to the blocks and protections noticeboard.


Report disputes with users that require administrator assistance. Further steps are listed at resolve disputes.


Reports that do not suit the vandalism noticeboard may be reported here. Requests for page protection/unprotection could also be requested here.


Other reports that require administrator assistance which do not fit in any of the previous three noticeboards may be reported here. Requests for history merging or splitting should be filed at COM:HMS.

✓ Done blocked for a month, because this is so clear-cut, but @Belbury, this really should have come to COM:AN/U, with a notification on their talk page. @Jmabel: I figured that clear-cut copyvios after being asked to stop was harming the project, but noted, I'll use ANU for future cases like this.

@Belbury: Please open a DR, or if something is blatant enough (you mention Vogue covers) nominate as a speedy deletion. I looked at a couple of uploads, didn't see anything that reached the level of "OMG, must be deleted ASAP", and considered my job of responding to the request done. In particular, there was certainly nothing about the images that constitutes vandalism, just the usual sort of out-of-scope uploads we get all day. The exact reason I gave this report immediate attention at all (in the midst of doing other stuff) is that AN/V is often where we get reports of someone doing massive, ongoing damage that needs to be dealt with immediately. - Jmabel ! talk 18:42, 1 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

More accounts after Commons:Requests for checkuser/Case/Greydiomond67200

Reason for reporting: The second user was blocked last December as a result of the CU case above. After the block, I found that they made more accounts with file copyright concerns. Please see the enwiki SPI page for CU information. MathXplore (talk) 15:12, 3 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
