Forgiving Ones Self

Psalm 103:10-11
10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us
according to our iniquities.
11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy
toward them that fear him.

Philippians 3:13
13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one
thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and
reaching forth unto those things which are before,

Psalm 32:5
5 I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have
I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the
LORD; and thou forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

While doing some soul searching and study in God's
Word, I have come to this realization and I feel during
this season of celebration I want to share it with those
who could use some good thoughts. True healing and
growth take place when one truly begins to forgive
themselves for their past mistakes so that they can then
begin to forgive others.

2 Corinthians 5:17-18

17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old
things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself
by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of
reconciliation

Forgiveness can be one of the hardest things you have to
do on your journey to growth and peace. Forgiving
yourself can be the hardest of all.
Everyone makes mistakes and even worse, intentionally
chooses the wrong way. But God's love for us is
overwhelming and covers a multitude of errors. Stop
punishing yourself today with these 7 Bible verses to help
you forgive yourself.

Romans 8:1
8 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in
Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
